I would normally post in the forums but since the pictures and description are not very clear I figured it may help others who attempt to use this doc to get going.
So to be clear with a two wire setup you connect the wires to pins 2 & 3 then have the jumpers ( or solder pads ) connecting pin 1 to pin 2 and the other jumper connect pin 3 to pin 4. Is there a need to put the resistor in the other block?
It would be nice to get a run down on how to use the script and read the results. Also want to point out that it sets the hot end temp to 230C so if anyone else runs this, make sure to adjust that to fit your filament’s needs.
You want the head to move up as far as possible so that it does not melt your print since it will remain hot enough to do so for quite some time. Because the system stored the Z height before moving the head up, after the power comes back on and your printer homes itself again it should be no problem.
Can we add in the new Mode 9 support for BLTouch?
Is it possible to continue a print after a heater fault error? Would be awesome if the Duet could save state like it does in the case of a power loss. My printer is having very random heater failures and while I am investigating the problem I am losing prints. If I could simple reset the failure state and resume printing once I am sure the heater is working properly it would be amazing.
