The explanation of how to wire a 2 wire fan for PWM control on OUT_3 or OUT_4 - could really use some more detail and clarification for those regular humans whos day job is NOT reading electrical engineering and circuit diagrams
Good Points - smoked two fans - Hot End and Part Cooling. Was trying to read the wiring schematic to make heads or tails of the jumpers and settings and polarities. Documents should be crystal clear
You should clearly identify in this build guide .. or somewhere … the + / - polarity for the Fan[s] connectors on the boards. You should ALSO make it crystal effing clear - on here - the schematic - via a pair of pictures or something - identifying the VIN vs. 5v fan voltage jumper positions. Shouldnt have to make a post in the forums to ask for a clarification on a $200 main board. Documents should be world class not 1/2 ass. Not too happy right now.

It might be handy to have a list of common probe types [ their brand names etc ] to assist a new user in selecting the proper “P” parameter …

I have been searching the wiki for clarifying info on the need for Signal Inversion and knowing what Hz freq to potentially use - and WHY I would need these settings. Links to an explanation somewhere would be excellent
I searched the docs AND my wiring for better part of several hours based upon this info/error message - “wiring issue”, and the Open Circuit error in DWC … however; the issue was poorly formatted GCODE parameter for the Thermistor … due to a misunderstanding of the Firmware Configurator …I suspect very few folks other than electrical engineers fully understand the options and language used in the Configurator for thermistor options … So to end this novel … it was merely a change of the T param from 10k to 100k [ adding a zero ] Configurator terminology isnt the best for the layman or the newb to 3d printing … so this has likely happened before [ I hope Im not the only one - lol ]
